Iran claims it has delivered a major blow to the air-defence capabilities of the United States and Israel as the war in the Middle East intensifies. According to Iranian military officials, strikes carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian Army have severely degraded key radar systems used to track missiles and drones across the region. Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said Iran’s advanced indigenous drones are now operating more effectively after damaging parts of the U.S.–Israel early-warning network. He claimed that Iranian forces can now hit enemy targets with greater precision because several radar systems have been neutralised. Iranian media reports suggest that nearly half of the radar installations supporting U.S. and Israeli air-defence operations in the region have been destroyed or severely disrupted, though these claims have not been independently verified.
