Unicorn is a cutting-edge iOS application designed to enhance productivity and knowledge acquisition through advanced text summarization and interactive quiz functionalities. Utilizing state-of-the-art NLP technologies, the app offers users a unique platform to condense extensive text into concise summaries and engage in self-testing through custom quizzes. The app’s intuitive interface and seamless user experience make it an indispensable tool for students, professionals, and lifelong learners alike.

Completed Functionalities (These features have already been successfully implemented):  

– Recording and real time transcription of Audio
-Text Summarization: Users can input or paste large blocks of text into a custom text editor, which the app then processes to generate a succinct summary. This feature utilizes a backend API for NLP operations, providing quick and accurate summaries.
-Quiz Feature: The app includes an interactive quiz section where users can test their knowledge on various topics. This section supports multiple-choice questions, automatic grading, and immediate feedback on answers.
– Basic User Interface: A preliminary UI has been implemented, offering basic navigation and interaction mechanisms, including buttons for text summarization, quiz participation, and viewing summaries.

Pending Functionalities (What I need help implementing):

– UI Cleanup and Enhancement: The current user interface requires further refinement and optimization to enhance usability and aesthetic appeal. This includes adjusting color schemes for better readability, improving layout responsiveness, and streamlining navigation.
– User Accounts and Monetization: Implementing a system for user accounts to enable personalized experiences, including saving, editing, and sharing summaries and quiz results. Additionally, exploring monetization strategies such as subscription models, in-app purchases, or ad integration is necessary for long-term sustainability.
– In-App Functionalities:
– Saving/Editing Summaries: Users should be able to save their summaries for future reference, edit them as needed, and organize them within the app.
– Sharing Feature: Facilitating the sharing of summaries and quiz results across various platforms or with other app users to promote collaborative learning.
– Advanced Text Editor Features: Enhancing the text editor with functionalities like text formatting, import/export options, and integration with cloud services for document management.
– Performance Optimization and Testing: Ensuring the app’s performance is optimized for various devices, along with comprehensive testing to identify and rectify any bugs or usability issues.
