We’re seeking an experienced Python developer to join our team and work on an exciting data processing project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, data manipulation, and working with various databases and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain Python scripts for data collection and processing
– Work with SQL databases and other data storage solutions
– Integrate and interact with external APIs and services
– Implement data processing pipelines
– Utilize various Python libraries and frameworks for efficient data handling

Required Skills and Experience:

– 3+ years of experience with Python development
– Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases
– Experience in calling and integrating various APIs
– Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python (e.g., asyncio)
– Proficiency with data processing and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy)
– Experience with web scraping techniques and libraries
– Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

– Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka) and in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis)
– Familiarity with natural language processing and machine learning concepts
– Knowledge of graph databases and knowledge graph construction
– Experience with cloud-based database solutions
– Familiarity with data privacy and ethical data collection practices

Project Details:

This is an ongoing project where you’ll be working on advanced data processing tasks. You’ll be part of a team focusing on collecting, processing, and analyzing large amounts of data from various sources. The project involves building a sophisticated data pipeline that will ultimately contribute to a knowledge graph system.
