Role Overview:

We are in search of a talented Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our team in developing and maintaining our open banking API platform. The primary focus will be on backend engineering.  While the main role doesn’t center on cybersecurity, knowledge in this area will be a significant plus, contributing to the overall security and robustness of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent 3 years experience
3 – 5 years professional software development experience
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.
Contribute to the development of our financial data and payment solutions.
Work on database design and management to ensure smooth data operations.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Apply knowledge of cybersecurity to enhance the security of the platform.
Participate in all phases of development, from conception to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Node.js and experience with the MERN stack.
Minimum basic proficiency in Python
Strong understanding of database management and maintenance.
Experience in developing APIs, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
(Plus) Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Hourly Range: $3.00-$5.00
