I have an algo trading framework which can have different exchanges plugged in. I currently have a need to work with Interactive Brokers.

My framework sends market orders. Your component should accept orders through a local socket in Linux. It will decode the orders according to logic I will give you, and then send the orders off to IB, and collect back info about the fill received. It will send fill info back through the local socket, again according to my own local codes.

I need help with a few other things. I currently have a working IB component which gathers orderbook data. I want to upgrade one thing: Currently I can only have 1 connection to IB. So for example if I am running in production, then I am not able to concurrently test new code. I want to be able to have at least 2 connections.

My current need is relatively basic — submit market orders and get fill info back. I need this component to get started, to see whether my algo makes money or not. If it does, then I will have an ongoing need to add features.
