We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team in integrating patient data from various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, focusing initially on an Athena Marketplace integration. The role involves ingesting patient data, including appointments, vitals, allergies, and medications, as well as managing integrations with third-party test facilities.

Responsibilities:

– Ingest and manage patient data from Athena Marketplace including:
– Information about clinics, practices, and practitioners.
– Handling HL7 data over VPN (ADT, SIU, Vitals, Allergies, Medications, Lab updates).
– Utilizing certified APIs for data elements such as AllergyIntolerance, Observation, and MedicationStatement.
Integrate data from third-party test facilities for CPET exams via HL7 from SFTP.
– Explore potential partnerships for integrations, such as Breast – Arterial Calcification screening via JSON with encoded images.
– Manage downstream API integrations to internal tools and patient display systems for vital statistics and test results.

Requirements:
– Proven experience with healthcare data integration and working with EMR systems.
– Strong knowledge of HL7, JSON, and API development.
– Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols like VPN and SFTP.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
