The MEA has slammed a Washington Post report that claimed Indian RAW officer’s role in foiled assassination of SFJ Counsel and pro-Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun as unsubstantiated and unwarranted. This after the U.S. said that the report was very concerning and called the issue serious. The report claimed that Indian RAW officer Vikram Yadav had hired a hitman to kill Pannun in November 2022.
