The Israeli military launched a fresh ground offensive in northern Gaza’s Jabaliya area. The IDF said it’s 162nd division’s 401st and 460th armoured brigades encircled Jabaliya overnight, targeting Hamas militants. The operation was launched after intelligence suggested that Hamas is re-establishing itself there. Meanwhile, in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah, IDF warplanes struck command centres used by Hamas operatives.
