The Israeli military announced the death of its soldier in southern Gaza, the first fatality in the Rafah offensive. The soldier was identified as 19-year-old Sergeant Ira Yair Gispan of the 7th Armored Brigade. Earlier, Hamas claimed that 8 Israeli soldiers were killed and 17 left injured in Rafah battles. Watch
