Yulia Navalnaya welcomed European findings that Alexei Navalny was poisoned with the banned neurotoxin epibatidine, based on laboratory analyses by the UK, France, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. The countries have referred Russia to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons over a possible Chemical Weapons Convention breach. Navalnaya alleged the toxin was produced in Russian state labs and used deliberately in the Arctic penal colony where Navalny died in February 2024. Moscow denies involvement. Speaking around the Munich Security Conference anniversary, Navalnaya vowed to pursue accountability for President Vladimir Putin and others she holds responsible.
