Role Overview:
MountMonitor is on the lookout for a talented software developer with a specific skill set to work along side our technical founder to  development of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This pivotal role is designed for an individual who is deeply involved in crafting innovative software solutions, with a focus on improving the operational efficiency of taxidermy businesses.

The MVP is underway and will concentrate on essential functionalities such as user onboarding, client and job creation, job tracking across various stages, and data representation through interactive tables or grids which allow for filtering of various types

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js: Demonstrable experience building dynamic, responsive web applications using React.js within the Next.js framework.

Experience with Firebase: In-depth knowledge of Firebase for authentication, storage, and using Firestore as a real-time database.

Proficiency in Mantine Component Library (or similar): Familiarity with Mantine for UI development, leveraging its extensive component library to create intuitive and cohesive user interfaces.

SCSS for Styling (nice to have): Ability to use SCSS for custom styling needs, enhancing the application’s visual appeal and user experience beyond the default Mantine components.

Excellent English Communication Skills: Must possess outstanding verbal and written English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse team environment and clear understanding of project requirements and feedback.

The developer will be expected to lead with initiative in areas where designs are conceptual or incomplete, making strategic decisions to align the development process with our established UI style and functionality goals. This role not only demands technical expertise but also creative problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in contributing to the niche market of taxidermy business management.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$15.00
