The Israeli military demolished eight Hamas tunnels spanning nearly 6 km under Gaza, detonating the vast tunnel network in the Shejaiya neighborhood, the New York Times reported. The tunnels were used by Hamas and other militant groups in northern Gaza. The IDF said they eliminated over 150 Hamas fighters hiding in and around the tunnels.
