Following Israel’s rescue mission in central Gaza, Hamas issued a chilling warning, accusing the IDF of leaving behind a trail of destruction while rescuing the hostages. On June 8, the Israeli military launched simultaneous raids on two buildings in central Gaza. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, over 200 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli raids. Al Qassam spokesperson Abu Obaida claimed that ‘some Israeli hostages’ were killed in the raids. Obaida also warned of a ‘negative impact’ on the lives of the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza.
