We are redeveloping our Windows desktop application "Bridgemate Control Software", "BCS" in short. This application is managing the Bridgemate electronic scoring which is a scoring system used by bridge clubs to score their bridge competitions. The purpose of the program is to allow its user to manage data that is generated by the scoring system, administer the connected hardware and have a clear overview of the progress of the competition. This new application is replacing our old application which is in production for more than 15 years. For a better understanding of this old application, see the manual which can be downloaded from https://www.bridgemate.com/resources/documents/BM2manual.pdf (see chapter 3 for details on this software)

The new program is a Windows application written in C# and uses WinUI user interface API. We have completed the functional development of this application and we are now ready to improve the user interface.

The new program has the following central elements:
– current session (=competition) showing the tables in play, results, players, etc
– connected scoring systems which are the Bridgemate II scoring system and the Bridgemate III scoring system
– connection with the online Bridgemate app for live publication

In the graphical design of the new program, these elements should play a pivotal role and all their functionality should be easy accessible. The interface should be lean and mean, where data is clearly presented and easy accessible, yet the interface should have an attractive, professional and modern lok.

Attached zip file contains screenshots of the old program and screenshots of the functionality of the new program.

We are looking for a GUI designer that has extensive experience with development of Windows desktop applications. There is absolutely no need to be a programmer. You must have creative skills to come up with clever designs that meet the above criteria.
Choosing the right designer for this project is not an easy task for us. Applicants who include some first rough designs reflecting their ideas will have a competitive edge.
