We are seeking an experienced Google Sheets Automation Specialist to help us streamline our financial analysis process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Sheets scripting, API integration, and financial data handling. Your main task will be to automate the creation of financial statements for various ticker symbols in our existing Google Sheets format.
Responsibilities:
Develop a script using Google Apps Script to automate the retrieval of financial statements for given ticker symbols.
Integrate the script with relevant financial data APIs to pull updated financial information.
Ensure the financial statements are created in the same format as our existing Google Sheets template.
Implement error handling and data validation to ensure accurate and reliable data retrieval.
Provide documentation and training on how to use and maintain the script.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Google Sheets scripting and automation.
Strong knowledge of Google Apps Script.
Experience with API integration, specifically for financial data.
Familiarity with financial statements and key financial metrics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and provide clear documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with financial APIs such as Alpha Vantage, IEX Cloud, or similar.
Background in finance or accounting.
Previous work on similar automation projects.
