Iran-backed Hezbollah, on June 2, reportedly struck Nahariya city in northern Israel, causing a fire. However, the drone attack did not cause any injuries, as reported by the Israeli military. The Israel Defense Forces later admitted that they tried but failed to intercept the drone. Meanwhile, the Lebanon-based militant group launched 40 rockets toward Israel, reportedly injuring two Israelis in Kiryat Shmona. The rocket barrage also caused a fire in the Golan Heights.
