Howdy! I am doing a research project and need some help setting up the Unreal engine 2D/3D environment. I am looking for someone to setup the world and provide hooks for me to add custom physic properties such as vector forces (like gravity but in different directions and such). The environment would start with essentailly spheres floating around an invisible center line like an n-body galactic simulation, and then over time we’d add more HUD elements to let you enable/disable various forces/features easily and then rewind/replay the interactions. Each element should be selectable which would bring up more information about that object. I’m happy to explain in more detail if this is something you would be interested in tackling. I am also trying to learn how to interact with Unreal in Blueprint and c++ (I’m a c++ expert from software library development side, but not graphics). So I’d love to be able to ask questions / get insights into making changes myself as well. LIkely what I’d want to do is get the project setup so we could collaborate via a private repo on GitHub. IF that sounds reasonable, I can try to mock up some example screenshots and then you can let me know what you think about getting the Unreal project up and running, and how I can interact with it from my own c++ library / application. Thanks!
