Join our U.S. software company and help bridge the gap between our legacy software, including Clipper, xHarbour, and Fivewin, and our new modern web/mobile application built on Tailwind and Svelte.

Our legacy software was originally developed as a DOS-based Payroll Processing Software written in Clipper and was later upgraded to a Windows application with FiveWin and xHarbour. We have since developed a modern cloud-based Time & Attendance web/mobile app using Tailwind and Svelte.

We are seeking experienced developers to help speed up the development process and ensure a smooth transition to our modern web application platform.

Responsibilities:

– Maintain and update legacy code written in Clipper, FiveWin, and xHarbour
– Modify and enhance the legacy software to integrate with modern technologies and platforms
– Integrate new features into the software
– Troubleshoot and debug issues
– Ensure compatibility and smooth transition between old and new software versions

Requirements:

– Must be available Mon-Fri from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
– Proficiency in Clipper, FiveWin, and xHarbour.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, Svelte is a plus
– Familiarity with APIs and integrating third-party libraries
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
– Experience in maintaining and updating legacy software products
– Ability to adapt to changing technologies and implement modern solutions while preserving legacy functionality
