Hello, my name is Tyler Youk and I am the co-founder of Next.AI Communications. We are a US-based startup looking to hire an experienced Full Stack Developer to help us build a next-generation communication platform. Our current demo is hosted at waivhotels.netlify.app. We are seeking a professional with expertise in the following technologies: SQL, Next.js, TypeScript, OracleDB, and Jest.

I am looking to hire on the spot.  In the interview, I will give you access to a github branch for you to clone and host locally.  The interview will require live coding while sharing your screen.  The ideal candidate will have experience with setting up database connections and creating API routes to perform CRUD operations on an Oracle SQL Autonomous database.

Initial Job Responsibilities:
– Configure the connection to an Oracle Cloud SQL Autonomous database.
– Ensure the connection uses Mutual TLS (mTLS) for secure communication.
– Develop API routes in Next.js to perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on the Oracle SQL database.
– Ensure the API routes are efficient and secure.
– Implement data validation and error handling for API endpoints.
– Integrate the API routes with the front-end components built using Next.js.
– Work on deploying the Next.js application to a suitable cloud environment.

Qualifications:
– Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
– Strong experience developing APIs with Next.js
– Solid experience in SQL, particularly with Oracle SQL databases
– Experience with setting up secure database connections, including the use of mTLS
– Understanding of web application debugging, including for security and performance
– Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize, work with multiple teams, and deliver efficiently
– Experience with Oracle Cloud SQL Autonomous database
– Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, etc.)
– Experience working in agile development environments
