AAP MP Raghav Chadha raised concerns over India’s standing in the global artificial intelligence race during a parliamentary speech. Comparing India to AI giants like the US and China, he emphasised the need for India to move from being a consumer to a producer of AI technology. Chadha urged the government to expand “Make in India” to “Make AI in India,” boost investment, skill the youth, and integrate AI into governance.
