Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted his close ally, Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, in Moscow on March 13. Lukashenko’s visit to the Russian capital coincided with US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff’s visit to meet Putin after Zelensky agreed to a 30-day ceasefire US proposal.
