We are seeking a skilled frontend developer to join our team and contribute to the development of an application built with Next.js, React, React Query, and Tailwind CSS. You will be tasked with building out new pages and features. As you learn the codebase we will also be interested in having you help improve the stack and design (for example migrating to shadcn, changing styles, refactoring components, adding tests migrating from Nextjs pages to app router, migrating from NextAuth to a better auth package, etc).

This is a great opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project with the potential for extensive engagements. If interested, can also contribute and develop experience in backend+cloud hosting technologies (optional).

We are a team of two; one business-side and one developer.

About our stack:
– Frontend: Next.js 14, React, Tailwindcss
– Backend: Nextjs API, BullMQ+redis background workers
– Databases: Neonjs (postgres)/Prisma ORM, Neo4j, Algolia, Pinecone
– Infrastructure: Koyeb, Vercel, AWS

Skills required:

– Experience in web design

– A UX design system like Figma

Process:
We would love to find someone who can work on multiple projects with our team. We would like to talk to you briefly to determine if you would be a good match. We would then proceed with a limited-scope project. If both sides are happy with the initial engagement we would offer a longer-term engagement and anywhere from 15-40 hours per week, depending on the contractor’s preference and availability.

Hourly Range: $25.00-$35.00
