Reporting to our internal Web Care Team, we are seeking a Developer who possesses:
– A strong technical understanding of WordPress & WooCommerce CMS
– An in-depth knowledge of PHP, along with proficiencies in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is essential for customising themes, plugins, and core functionalities.
– Knowledge of techniques to optimise website speed and performance, ensuring a smooth user experience.
– A strong understanding of optimisation principles for mainstream mobile & tablet devices
The following attributes will be sought after in a candidate:
– Have experience with popular WordPress page builders (in particular, Elementor, Divi and WPBakery)
– Have excellent verbal and written English skills, enabling you to listen, understand & carry out instructions to the letter.
– Ability to attend daily team meetings, and be contactable at all times via nominated communication channels during the course of your working day
– Be able to work autonomously as well as communicate with a team
– Have excellent English communication skills
– Display high attention to detail, and an ability to self-review their own work
– Availability Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm (your local time).
– Be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic supported by a desire to expand your skillset
This role is ideal for developers who show great initiative when it comes to communication. Your days will be scheduled and monitored by our internal team, so it is crucial that the highest level of communication is maintained.
To be considered for this role, the prerequisites are, you must:
– Provide up to 3 examples of websites that you have either built independently, or alternatively co-built as a participating team member.
