Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Front End Developer to join our dynamic team responsible for developing the user interface of our cutting-edge social media website. As a Front End Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers, to create visually appealing and highly responsive web applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing user-facing features and ensuring the overall user experience is seamless and engaging.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the front end of our social media website, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
2. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into well-functioning web pages.
3. Implement and optimize user interfaces for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
5. Work closely with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
6. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix front-end issues.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and enhancements.
8. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
9. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
10. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to front-end development.

Requirements:
Past working experience with Vercel and AWS for staging and deployment areas
Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on modern just Next.js as the website is built on it.
Past experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility (Desktop, Tablet and Mobile)
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Github as a version control systems
Understanding of web security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with server-side languages such as Node.js
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration.
Familiarity with social media platform development.
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch.

Hourly Range: $25.00-$45.00
