We are a tech startup operating at the intersection of music, film, and television. Led by a founder who is well-known and established in the music industry, as well as an advisory team that includes senior executives from Spotify and Disney, we are poised to disrupt the entertainment landscape.

Our mission is to craft a platform that not only resonates with creative professionals but also enhances the way consumers interact with their favorite media. Existing analogues would be Spotify, SoundCloud and Netflix, but in the B2B space. If you feel like you could build early versions of these systems, then this would be the role for you.

As our first hire, you will play an important position in transforming our vision into reality. This is not just a job; it’s an adventure in innovation where your skills will help shape the future of entertainment technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Tech Development: Build out the front-end of our product, leveraging an API being developed by our partner.
• Ensuring the front end is pixel perfect, built according to designs, and bug-free.
• Strategy & Planning: Assist in the strategic planning of system and development deployments as well as provide recommendations on technical challenges and product roadmap.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team and industry advisors to translate business needs into technical actions.
• Agile Management: Implement agile methodologies to continuously improve the product and development process, adapting to feedback and evolving requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability, including comprehensive testing and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development, with a track record of successfully delivering complex products, in particular with sophisticated Web platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration and delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong technical vision.
• Prior startup experience is highly desirable, as is a passion for the music, film, and TV industries.
• Based in the UK within commuting distance to London.

Hourly Range: $36.00-$50.00
