We are seeking a skilled and motivated UI/UX designer to join our agency on a contractual basis. You will work alongside our team as we develop beautiful and high-performance web applications for our clients in tech, e-commerce, and finance. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end UI designs for our client projects and collaborating with our team to design a common library of components we can use across projects. You will work on 1-2 projects per month, and this will be a largely asynchronous role with communication over Slack and Zoom as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

– Proficient in Figma: Experience using Figma for UI/UX designs.
– Proven Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, UX research, and UI design skills.
– Excellent English Communication Skills: Both written and verbal.
– Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Experience with Design Systems: Ability to create and maintain a design system.
– Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with Web Development Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better communicate with developers.
– Experience in B2B SaaS Products: Prior experience working on B2B SaaS products is a plus.
– Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
