Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative freelance UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming product requirements and conceptual ideas into engaging and functional design mockups, with an eventual progression to high-fidelity, interactive prototypes using Figma. Furthermore, the candidate should possess the capability to convert these designs into React components, facilitating seamless integration with our backend engineering team’s efforts.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the product team to understand product requirements and conceptual decks.
Create low-fidelity mockups to visualize initial design concepts.
Iteratively improve and refine designs based on feedback, evolving these into high-fidelity, interactive mockups using Figma.
Convert high-fidelity designs into React components, ensuring compatibility and ease of implementation for the backend engineering team.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current design trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:
Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably with a portfolio showcasing your work in product design and interactive mockups.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Strong skills in front-end development, particularly in React.js.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product teams and developers.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver projects on schedule.
A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with a strong emphasis on user-centered design principles.
