We seek an experienced freelance IoT developer to design and develop a remote monitoring system for multiple fluids, including Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), in a tank. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IoT hardware and software development, wireless communication protocols, and cloud-based data platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop an IoT-based multi-fluid tank monitoring system
Select and integrate appropriate sensors for various fluids (e.g., DEF, oil, water)
Develop firmware and software for data acquisition, processing, and transmission
Implement wireless communication protocols (e.g., cellular, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN)
Integrate with cloud-based data platforms for data storage and visualization
Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with our team for requirements gathering, testing, and deployment

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in IoT development
Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python, or similar programming languages
Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32), sensors, and communication modules
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols and cloud-based data platforms
Familiarity with remote monitoring and data analytics
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

Nice to Have:
Experience with multi-fluid tank monitoring or similar industrial applications
Knowledge of security and encryption protocols
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
