Position Summary:
We are looking for an expert in the FIX financial protocol to develop a high-performance programming interface in C++ or RUST to the Interactive Brokers FIX Gateway. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the interface passes the rigorous testing regimen of the Interactive Brokers FIX team. Preference will be given to candidates experienced with the Ferrum FIX Rust project; however, if it is not mature enough, a suitable C++ open-source project may be used.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a programming interface to the Interactive Brokers FIX Gateway using RUST (preferred) or C++.
Ensure the interface meets all Interactive Brokers FIX team testing requirements.
Utilize the Ferrum FIX Rust project, or identify and implement a suitable C++ open-source project if necessary.
Potentially implement Redis as a queue for order streaming to allow interaction between the FIX engine and other subsystems as independent services.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of the FIX engine with existing systems.
Provide documentation and support for the developed interface.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.

Qualifications:
Proven experience with FIX financial protocol and developing interfaces for trading systems.
Proficiency in RUST and/or C++ programming languages.
Familiarity with the Ferrum FIX Rust project is highly desirable.
Experience with Redis or similar message queue systems.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Interactive Brokers FIX Gateway.
Familiarity with open-source FIX projects in RUST & C++.
Understanding of algorithmic trading systems and market data protocols.
