Responsibilities:
Develop and implement FOTA capabilities for our IoT air quality sensors.
Design a robust and secure FOTA update mechanism that minimizes downtime and ensures data integrity.
Integrate FOTA functionality with our existing IoT platform and cloud services.
Test and validate the FOTA process to ensure reliable and fail-safe updates.
Provide documentation and training materials for the FOTA update process.
Collaborate with our hardware and software teams to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience in firmware development, particularly for IoT devices.
Strong understanding of FOTA processes and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE/4G, LoRa) and OTA update mechanisms.
Knowledge of security practices for firmware updates, including encryption and authentication.
English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
