I have developed a Figma file of a restaurant-search app, and decided to have it developd in FlutterFlow and Supabase to get a first version done. URL to Figma is at the buttom at of this description.

My current freelance-developer is 5 weeks behind schedule and it is time for me to find someone else to take over.

The first version of the app has limited functions and pages, as you will see in the Figma file. This is on purpose, as it is functions on two specific pages I want to test:

(1) Filter restaurants – on search page
(2) Filter menu – on business profile page

The first audience I want to have use the app are those with specific needs when they eat out. For example those with gluten-intolerance, lactose-intolerance, those who wish to bring their dogs to restaurants, vegetarians etc.

Hence the filters.

Other than those two pages, I’ve also build and included the following pages:

(1) Map view of search results
(2) More info about business – page
(3) Gallery
(4) Menu

These are all already built in FlutterFlow. And most of the Supabase database is set up.

I need someone else to take over because despite being 5 weeks behind schedule, my current developer has not decided to accelerate his pace and is still taking on other projects.

Because of this, certain aspects of the database is not yet done. The consequence is I am holding back on gathering some data lest I need to reformat it all again.

From my own looking at the work in FlutterFlow and Supabase, at the time of writing this is the list of things that needs to be done (I have this in a Word document):

Front-End UI
* Conditional visibility on URLs (if no URL to e.g. website or Facebook, don’t show in list of URLs for a business)
* Active colors to show filter is chosen/active
* Matching font, sizes, colors, spacing to UI on Figma

Front-End functionality
* The ability to activate/apply more than one filter.
* Clicking on a filter actually filters content

Front-End + Backend integrations
* Text to Dynamic, for example:
= Changing color of dot between red and green depending on if store is open or closed. Similar with text: "Open"/"Closed" and hours "Opens at hh:mm" / "Closes at hh:mm"
= View on map btn opens map
* Google Maps integration on "more information about business"-page

Backend work
* Create buckets for images (profile picture, galleries) – then integrate on Front-End
* The entire menu aspect on the backend is not completed, confusing and not integrated – table-to-table and to front-end
* Ability to write two opening and closing hours for one day
* Ability for a store to close next day, e.g. 2am next morning

Other information:
(1) The only thing in the Figma file which is not part of the agreement with the current developer – because I made it after – is the round buttons that enable the user to filter/sort the menu for e.g. gluten-free food. I would like the new developer to also develop this functionality including in Supabase.

(2) Each restaurant has a review rating in their "profile". But the current Figma file does not have any "add review" or "view reviews" element/function.

I want the new developer to, for now, remove the stars on the profiles, so that reviews / ratings are not part of the first version. But we can talk about how this.

Lots of details. I have it in a Word-document, as well.

As a first step, what I would like for the potential new developer to do is just to familiarize themselves with the current work in Supabase and FlutterFlow and provide their recommendations on how to continue, timeline and budget – and ask any questions they might have.

It is important the developer is proactive in reaching out and letting me know if they miss something, if I need to provide something, if something is not clear from my Figma file (I’m self-taught over 1.5 months, so its probably not your usual pro dev ready setup). But I am more than happy to provide any information you need in no time, and talk with you.
