We are preparing the next version of our e-commerce platform, and are looking for an experienced Figma designer to help us build out a design system and implement our full UI/UX redesign.

Overview:

* We’re migrating to Shopware 6, which uses PHP Symfony for the backend and likely Vue.js and TailwindCSS for the front-end development.

* The design system will be based on the "Untitled UI" kit (convince me otherwise) – culled for what is not needed and expanded for what is missing (e.g. Product Card)

* Goal #1 is to create a Figma design library with reusable components, styles, and guidelines, enabling our team to quickly and consistently build out the various screens and components needed for the new site.

* Goal #2 is to iterate on our design ideas to reach final dev-handoff-ready figma designs.

Responsibilities:
* Work with our founder to understand the vision – and provide expertise on the best path there.
* Start with Untitled UI as the base design (or similar design aesthetic UI Kit) – focusing only on components that are missing (e.g. product card).
* Build a Figma design library with well-organized components, styles, and variables, adhering to best / current practices.
* Fully design key screens within our wireframe (home page, collections page, product detail page, checkout, etc)
* Help future-proof it for Figma’s AI "Make-designs" feature, slight style tweaks over the years, etc.

Requirements:
* Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, and libraries
* Experience creating and managing design systems / libraries in Figma.
* Experience in e-commerce design is a plus.
