We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify app developer to transform our existing Shopify site into a comprehensive app. This project is not just about creating a Shopify app; it involves integrating advanced custom features, including AI-based recommendations and social networking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop a Shopify app that seamlessly integrates with our existing website.
•  Implement social networking features within the app, enhancing user engagement and community building.
•  Incorporate AI-based recommendation algorithms to offer personalized experiences to users.
•  Ensure the app supports live data integrations, pushing and fetching data to and from various sources.
•  Develop custom logic for Shopify public or private apps using Shopify Polaris Components or similar frameworks.
•  Handle Shopify API authentication and Webhooks implementation for real-time data updates.
•  Set up OAuth for public app authentication and secure access to store data.
•  Write efficient and reliable code for backend processes (e.g., CRON jobs, data filtering, indexing).
•  Manage the entire app lifecycle from design, build, deploy, test, to release on Shopify and maintain the app post-launch.

Skills and Qualifications:

•  Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a strong focus on Shopify app development.
•  Proficiency in React, Node.js, Liquid, and other relevant web technologies.
•  Solid experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
•  Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms is a major plus.
•  Experience in building social networking features within applications.
•  Strong understanding of OAuth and secure authentication methods.
•  Ability to write and optimize CRON jobs, preferably with Ruby on Rails.
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

•  Portfolio of previous work that includes Shopify apps, particularly those with custom features.
•  Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
•  Willingness to engage in discussions before commencing the project to ensure clarity and prevent any inconvenience.
