Develop and maintain efficient backend solutions using Node.js and related technologies.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
Collaborate closely with our frontend and design teams to integrate backend functionality into user-friendly applications.
Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems to meet the demands of our growing user base.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through thorough testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a backend developer with a focus on Node.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern ECMAScript standards.
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Knowledge of server-side templating languages (e.g., EJS, Handlebars) and server-side rendering techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers (e.g., npm).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a remote team environment.
Nice to Have:
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures.
