We are in search of a proficient UX Designer to join our project team on Upwork for a pivotal initiative. Our application has advanced beyond wireframes to a completed high-fidelity design stage. We require a visionary designer to evaluate this existing design, propose and implement enhancements to improve usability and aesthetics, and subsequently develop a clickable prototype in Figma for comprehensive user testing. The primary aim of this project is to refine our app to ensure an intuitive, seamless, and user-centric experience.

Project Milestones:

1. Design Evaluation and Enhancement Proposal (Milestone 1):
• Undertake a detailed project briefing to align on the app’s objectives, target demographic, and strategic vision.
• Assess the current high-fidelity design to identify areas for usability and aesthetic enhancements, focusing on the ease of performing core app objectives.
• Compile a list of proposed design improvements, grounded in user-centered design principles, to be reviewed and agreed upon with the project team.
2. Implementation of Design Enhancements (Milestone 2):
• Refine the existing high-fidelity designs by incorporating the agreed-upon enhancements, aiming for a balance between visual appeal and functional usability.
• Engage in iterative feedback with the project team to fine-tune these enhancements, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and user needs.
3. Clickable Prototype Development and Testing Prep (Milestone 3):
• Convert the enhanced high-fidelity designs into a fully interactive clickable prototype using Figma, simulating realistic user interactions for testing purposes.
• Ensure the prototype is prepared for user testing, emphasizing ease of navigation and the overall user engagement experience.

Budget:

Our project is budgeted at $1,000, divided across the milestones as follows:

• Milestone 1: Design Evaluation and Enhancement Proposal – $150
• Milestone 2: Implementation of Design Enhancements – TBD
• Milestone 3: Clickable Prototype Development – $500

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in UX Design, with a portfolio showcasing successful design evaluations, enhancements, and clickable prototype developments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for both design refinement and prototype creation.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, applied to improve app usability and design.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and feedback integration.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to creating exceptional user experiences.
