We are a large company seeking a highly skilled application developer to build a robust internal application for managing our construction workforce. This application will primarily serve to organize and manage the professions of construction workers based in Reigate and potentially from other regions. It will also handle details such as their distance from construction sites and facilitate their scheduling by site managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop an application to track and organize the professions of construction workers.
Integrate features to manage the distance of workers’ residences from construction sites.
Implement a scheduling system for managers to allocate workers based on availability.
Design a user-friendly interface for both administrators and construction site managers.
Ensure the application is scalable and secure, with the potential for future expansion to external users.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed.
Skills Required:

Proven experience in application development, particularly for internal company use.
Strong knowledge of database management and integration.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, React, etc.).
Experience with user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design.
Ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing workforce management or similar applications.
Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) for distance calculations.
Previous work with large organizations and understanding of their unique needs.
Budget: Flexible, based on experience and scope of the project. We are open to discussing your rate and project milestones.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$30.00
