Description:
We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join our team and assist with the development of our web application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Requirements:

Proficient in Ruby, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as ERB and HAML
Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Good understanding of agile development methodologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Nice to have:

Experience with deploying applications to cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
Familiarity with Docker and containerization
Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques

Hourly Range: $15.00-$40.00
