I’m looking for an experienced JavaScript and React developer to work on a small, existing codebase for a productivity app designed for newcomers to Canada.

This is an hourly position for ongoing work.

Responsibilities:
Enhance and maintain the current Jasasctipt + React web app. Optimize Firebase for database and real-time features. Ensure the app is scalable and performs well.

Write clean, maintainable code.

Requirements:
Strong experience with JavaScript and React.js. Proficient with Firebase services like Firestore and Firebase Authentication. Familiarity with state management (Redux/Context API). Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
