We are currently on the lookout for a talented Back-End Developer to join our team for an exciting project: developing a custom Shopify mobile app with innovative features like AI-based recommendations and social networking integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side logic, database management, and API integration.

Responsibilities:

•  Develop and maintain the server-side logic of the mobile app.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
•  Create and manage database schemas that represent and support business processes.
•  Implement data storage solutions (including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.).
•  Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
•  Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
•  Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
•  Design and implement data storage solutions.
•  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•  Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java, .NET, Node.js).
•  Understanding of Shopify’s back-end systems and APIs.
•  Familiarity with front-end technologies (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand the front-end developer’s needs.
•  Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
•  Data migration, transformation, and scripting.
•  Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
•  Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment.
•  Experience with creating RESTful APIs.
•  Knowledge of security compliance and best practices.
