1. Introduction:
[PRIVATE] is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to develop a comprehensive micro-credential framework along with the creation of courses within this framework. Of key importance is finding a professional that can expand the content range available on [CONFIDENTIAL], via engaging 3rd party content providers. The micro-credential framework aims to provide targeted, skill-specific learning opportunities to all level of learners in multiple disciplines, allowing them to enhance their expertise and advance their careers.
2. Background:
[PRIVATE] is an group of Colleges that serves a diverse population of students by offering a portfolio of programs ranging from employment ready vocational programs to diplomas in disciplines such as Business, Administration, Teaching Assistants, Logistics/Supply Chain, Addictions, Hair Styling, Aesthetics, , Medical, and Culinary Arts. [PRIVATE] offers both in person programs, and online delivery to better serve the needs of students and their external commitments. Part of the [PRIVATE] strategic plan is to build up the Micro-credential component.  To this end, [PRIVATE] is partnered with [CONFIDENTIAL].
The mission of [PRIVATE] is to deliver high-quality, affordable, and accessible online courses grounded in evidence-based content and relevant application, preparing individuals to serve, lead, and achieve personal and professional goals in diverse environments and evolving communities around the globe.
3. Project Objectives:
The primary objectives of this project include:
a) Expand the range of micro-credential content available on the [PRIVATE] platform.
b) To partner with reputable 3rd party content providers to offer diverse and relevant learning opportunities.
c) To ensure the quality, credibility, and alignment of 3rd party micro-credential content with the [PRIVATE] platform’s standards and objectives.
d) Designing a robust micro-credential framework that aligns with industry standards and meets the needs of professionals in [relevant industry/field].
e) Developing a range of courses within this framework, covering key competencies and skills identified through market research and stakeholder consultations.
f) Ensuring scalability and flexibility within the framework to accommodate future updates and additions.
g) Implementing assessment methods to evaluate learners’ mastery of skills and competencies.
h) Providing a user-friendly platform for learners to access courses, track their progress, and earn micro-credentials.
i) Integrate a secure and user-friendly e-commerce platform into our existing micro-credential course system.
j) Enable consumers to browse available courses, select desired ones, and proceed with online payment transactions.
k) Ensure seamless integration with our existing course management system to facilitate real-time updates on course availability and enrolment status.

4. Scope of Work:
The scope of work encompasses the following tasks:
a) Identifying and sourcing micro-credential content from 3rd party providers across various industries and disciplines.
b) Evaluating the quality, relevance, and alignment of 3rd party micro-credential content with the [PRIVATE] platform’s objectives and audience.
c) Negotiating agreements and licensing terms with selected content providers.
d) Integrating approved 3rd party micro-credential content into the [PRIVATE] platform.
e) Providing ongoing support and maintenance for hosted micro-credential programs.
f) To enhance the security infrastructure of the micro-credential platform to prevent unauthorized access and content theft.
g) To implement robust measures for protecting and securing proprietary content owned by [PRIVATE] and content licensed from 3rd party providers.
h) Establishing protocols and procedures for monitoring and responding to security incidents, including content piracy and copyright infringement.
a) Conducting a needs analysis and market research to identify key skills and competencies required by professionals in [relevant industry/field].
b) Developing a detailed micro-credential framework outlining the structure, components, and criteria for earning micro-credential s.
