We are seeking a Product Owner/Application Designer with a strong focus on user experience to shape the evolution of our comprehensive EdTech platform.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features, ensuring they align with user needs and business objectives.  Your expertise in creating intuitive user flows and wireframes will be instrumental in making our platform accessible and enjoyable for all users, regardless of their technical background.

Responsibilities:

User-Centric Design: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and develop user personas to deeply understand the needs and behaviors of various user groups (students, teachers, administrators, parents).
User Flow Mapping: Create clear and logical user flows that outline the steps users take to complete key tasks within the platform.
Wireframing: Develop wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize user flows and interface layouts, ensuring a simple and intuitive experience.
Feature Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to prioritize features based on user needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
Collaboration: Foster close collaboration with development, design, and QA teams to ensure seamless implementation of features and maintain a consistent user experience across modules.
Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs.
Data Analysis: Leverage user analytics to track user engagement, identify pain points, and inform design decisions.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management or UX/UI design, with a strong focus on user flow mapping and wireframing.
EdTech Experience: Demonstrated experience working with one or more of the following EdTech modules:
Online Classes
LMS (Learning Management Systems)
SIS (Student Information Systems)
Franchises
Classes & Events Management
Admissions & Enrollments
Assessments
Staff Management
Payments
CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Mobile App
Other EdTech features
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq).
User-Centric Mindset: A passion for creating intuitive and accessible user experiences for all.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of clearly articulating design concepts and user flows to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: A creative problem-solver who can simplify complex user interactions.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$30.00
