We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelance web developer to create a multilingual e-commerce website for a UK-based company selling alcohol to both retail and wholesale customers. The website must comply with all relevant UK regulations for online alcohol sales.
Responsibilities:
Develop a user-friendly e-commerce website in both English and Mandarin, using a popular CMS platform like WordPress or Shopify.
Implement core functionalities like product listings, shopping cart, secure payment gateway, customer accounts, and age verification.
Develop features specific to alcohol sales, such as:
Inventory management with separate tracking for retail and wholesale channels.
Delivery restrictions based on UK regulations.
Integrate with a payment gateway suitable for high-risk categories like alcohol.
Ensure the website adheres to all relevant UK regulations for online alcohol sales (Client will be responsible for confirming legal compliance through independent legal counsel).
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance after website launch (optional, separate quote).
