About Us:
We are a leading mental healthcare agency based in Los Angeles, California. We are experiencing incredible growth and are looking to streamline our online presence to better reflect our success. As part of this initiative, we require a highly skilled domain migration expert to lead a critical website migration project.

The Challenge:
Currently, our domain is split between two providers: register.com for ownership and web.com for hosting. Additionally, we utilize Microsoft 365 for our business emails. This fragmented approach is hindering our website performance and security. We are committed to a seamless migration with zero data loss, particularly for our sensitive healthcare information.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a domain migration expert with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for the entire migration process, from planning and execution to post-migration monitoring.  

Here are the key aspects of this project:

Secure and Flawless Migration: Ensure the migration of our website, domain ownership, and email data (365) to new providers with zero downtime or data loss.

Expertise in Healthcare:  Experience working with healthcare and medical institutions is essential to understand the critical nature of data security and compliance.

Communication and Education:  Create clear and concise technical documentation (written &  presentations) to educate non-technical stakeholders (C-level executives) on the migration process, risks involved, team collaboration strategies, DNS basics, and the entire sequence.

Technical Proficiency:  Experience with CloudFlare and AWS for hosting is a plus.

Strategic Solutions:  Advise on the best practices for domain ownership and hosting (separate for redundancy) and recommend the most suitable new providers.

Mentorship and Partnership: We are a growing organization and value long-term partnerships. We anticipate ongoing IT support as our needs evolve.

You are the Ideal Candidate if You Have:
Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex domain migrations.
Proven track record of success in the healthcare industry, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to educate non-technical audiences.

In-depth knowledge of domain registration, DNS management, and website hosting.

Experience with CloudFlare and AWS hosting is a strong plus.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
