Camera Integration: Install and configure a high-definition camera in the head of the robotic parrot to capture high-quality images.
Software Development: Utilize computer vision libraries such as OpenCV and machine learning algorithms like dlib or TensorFlow to develop an efficient and fast facial recognition system.
Animation Triggering: Integrate the facial recognition system with the robot’s animation module. When the parrot recognizes a face, it should trigger specific animations and prepare the AI to engage in interaction with the user.
Optimization: Ensure the facial recognition system operates in real-time with high accuracy and is optimized for use on embedded platforms.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in developing facial recognition systems using OpenCV, dlib, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
Knowledge of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning.
Skills in integrating hardware (cameras) with facial recognition software.
Proficiency in programming with Python or C++.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams, including AI developers and mechanical engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in robotics projects or embedded systems.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks for facial recognition.
Ability to clearly document code and processes for seamless integration with other project components.
