Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer to create a unique application designed to enhance our marketing efforts towards new podcasts. The main objective of this application is to automatically send marketing emails to creators of new podcasts that appear in the Podcast Index. Additionally, if feasible, we’d like this application to connect to Intercom to streamline our email campaign management and communication processes. This system should also include the functionality to enroll these new podcasts in a drip campaign to keep them engaged over time.

Key Requirements:
Integration with Podcast Index: The app must be able to fetch new entries (podcasts) from the Podcast Index efficiently and accurately.

Email Automation: Based on the data fetched from the Podcast Index, the app should auto-generate and send personalized marketing emails to the contact details associated with the new podcasts.

Intercom Integration (if possible): If viable, the app should connect with Intercom to manage communications and track interactions with the podcast creators seamlessly.

Drip Campaign Management: Ability to place the new podcasts into a scheduled drip email campaign, which involves creating and managing a series of follow-up emails.

User Dashboard: A simple yet effective dashboard for monitoring the app’s activities, new podcasts identified an queued.

Compliance with Email Marketing Laws: The app must adhere to all relevant email marketing regulations and best practices, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act, etc.

Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in developing marketing automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations, potentially with Intercom.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and understanding of drip campaign strategies.
• Familiarity with data privacy and email marketing laws.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$45.00
