We are a startup looking to develop a web platform called PayChek. This platform will allow doctors to upload their working hours and payslips, automatically compare the data, and flag any discrepancies for review. The goal is to ensure healthcare professionals are accurately compensated for their work.
Scope of Work:
Web Development: Create a responsive, user-friendly web platform that includes:
A secure login system.
A dashboard for users to upload and store working hours and payslips.
Automated comparison of hours worked against payslip details.
An alert system to notify users of discrepancies.
An automated email generation system to request corrections.
Data Security: Implement robust security measures to ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
User Experience: Develop an intuitive interface that is easy to navigate for users with varying levels of tech-savviness.
Timeline:
We are aiming for an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) within 3-5 weeks from the start of the project. However, we are open to discussions on timelines depending on the developer’s availability and other project considerations.
Working Relationship:
You will be working closely with our team, which includes experienced professionals in healthcare and education, to ensure the platform meets industry needs. We also expect you to work independently, and summarise key objectives met along the way.
Potential for More Work:
This project is the foundation of our platform, with potential for further development, including mobile app integration, additional features, and scaling. There is a long-term opportunity for continued collaboration, especially if you are interested in securing an equity position.
What We Need Help With:
Technical Expertise: While we have a clear vision of what the platform should do, we need your technical expertise to bring it to life.
Guidance: We would appreciate guidance on best practices for developing secure and scalable web applications in the healthcare sector.
Required Experience:
Proven experience in full-stack web development (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python).
Experience with secure data handling and storage.
Familiarity with integrating automated email systems and alert notifications.
Previous work on healthcare platforms or similar sensitive data environments is a plus.
Preferred Qualities:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to offer services in exchange for equity at a reduced rate.

Hourly Range: $30.00-$40.00
