Project Overview:
Dokdo UAB is embarking on an ambitious project titled District 53, a Minecraft-style game forked from Minetest. This project will involve extensive work in C++ and Lua scripting languages. Our goal is to integrate this game with the Solar SXP Blockchain, introducing a plethora of innovative features over the coming months, including:
– VR Compatibility
– Diverse New Game Modes and Mods
– Enhanced Graphics with Raytracing
– Blockchain-Integrated Game Launcher
– Advanced Chat and Admin Functions
– Server Management with a Subscription Model
– PS4 Controller Integration
– AI-Powered NPCs
– Voice Integration Capabilities

Key Qualifications:
– Proficiency in C++ and Lua (Mandatory)
– Experience in Game Development
– Familiarity with Blockchain Technologies
– Knowledge of TypeScript (Highly Valued)
Role Expectations:
The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team at Dokdo UAB, working in close collaboration with Solar Network and Solar.org. We are offering the possibility of hybrid work with the option to have personal office space and accommodation. The candidate should be prepared to dedicate at least 6 months exclusively to this project.
Compensation:
– Salary is negotiable based on experience and skill level.
