We are developing a proof of concept for a sports video camera idea for auto racing. We’re looking for someone to help us build the idea as we go, as the format will change once we see how it will work, eventually moving to AI instead of geo.

-we have three recordings of the same race taken from three different turns, and one from inside the car:

-we also have the gps location of three cars on the track at any given time during the race – and can put together a geofence based on the view of each camera
-the user will choose which car they want to follow and the program will show the proper camera view based on the gps location of the car
-the interface will be web based, show the three cars to choose from and regular video buttons
-the feed will change as the car travels around the track, if there is no feed it will default to the incar view until the next fence is found

Future Updates
-we’ll develop a move advanced interface including a map to show all cars on the track
-we are considering using AI instead of geofencing, but need to get higher quality video samples
-the video will be cropped and zoomed in around the selected car to appear as the camera is following it down the track (for now we need a sample of how this will look – eventually it will be handled by AI)
