I need a highly optimized JavaScript or Python script that uses a Depth-First Search (or similar) algorithm to traverse large numbers of paths, sends the path data to an already existing third party processing engine (hosted on the same server), gets the data back from the engine, and then creates reports with any errors reported by the engine. In addition to errors, I need simple path statistics generated for each file.

Files with the paths will need to be uploaded via a simple API and then the results will be returned via that API.

I have a working prototype script now, but it has memory issues and needs to be rewritten with optimization in mind so that it can run fast and scalable on a standard Ubuntu (or similar) hosting solution. Some paths may have a lot of depth and some files maybe have hundreds of thousands or millions of paths, so both speed and memory optimization are critical.

I’m looking for someone who has experience in Depth-First Search (or similar) code optimization (memory and performance) in JavaScript or Python. You should also be able to setup the API to accept files and return the reports.

I need someone who is available now or in the very near future for the project. Please do not post an AI proposal, instead let me know what similar projects you’ve done in the past. Thank you.
