We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team for Next.js applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, possess a keen eye for detail, and be able to ensure the highest quality standards for our projects. In addition to testing features based on specifications, the candidate should also have experience in conducting page speed loading tests and setting up CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket.

– Perform manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on provided specifications.

– Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

– Create and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing.

– Conduct performance testing to evaluate page loading times and identify areas for optimization.

– Collaborate with developers and team leads to ensure thorough testing coverage and effective communication of issues.

– Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket to automate testing and deployment processes.

– Document and report defects, track issues to resolution, and verify fixes.

– Continuously research and implement best practices for testing and quality assurance processes.

– Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

– Experience working with Next.js and NX monorepo applications is a plus.

Hourly Range: $5.00-$15.00
